Privacy Policy

Last updated June 8, 2026

LiftRing is built privacy-first. There is no account, no login, and no sign-up — and we don't want your email. This policy explains exactly what the app does and doesn't do with your data.

What we collect

Only the training data you enter yourself:

This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework.

What we do NOT collect

iCloud sync (optional)

If you enable it, your data syncs across your Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit. It stays in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to us. You can turn it off anytime in your device settings.

Apple Health (optional)

With your permission, LiftRing writes your completed workouts and an active-energy estimate to Apple Health, so your training shows up alongside the rest of your fitness data. We do not read any health data from Apple Health or other apps, and HealthKit data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.

Third parties

The only third-party services LiftRing uses are Apple's own: CloudKit (optional sync), HealthKit (optional Health writes), and StoreKit (subscriptions). Purchases are processed by Apple — we never see your payment details.

Children

LiftRing is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
