Getting started
On first launch, a few quick questions pick the program that fits your goal, experience, equipment, and days per week. Open the Workout tab and tap Start Workout — LiftRing pre-fills your weights and runs the program's progression for you.
Is it free?
Your first 3 workouts are completely free, with every program and feature unlocked. After that, continued training requires LiftRing Pro (monthly, annual, or a one-time lifetime purchase). Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions — restore, manage, cancel
- Restore a purchase: Settings → Restore Purchases (e.g. on a new device).
- Manage or cancel: in your Apple ID account settings (Settings app → your name → Subscriptions). Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us.
- Refunds are handled by Apple through their support channels.
Your data & iCloud
LiftRing stores your data locally on your device — no account required. If you turn on iCloud sync (Settings), your workouts sync privately across your Apple devices via iCloud. If you delete the app without iCloud sync enabled, local data is removed with it.
Apple Health
Optional. When enabled (Settings → Apple Health, or the onboarding prompt), LiftRing writes your completed workouts to Apple Health. It never reads your health data. If you skipped the prompt, you can enable it later from Settings.
Rest-timer alerts not firing?
The rest-timer alert when the app is in the background needs notification permission. Enable it in Settings → Notifications (it deep-links to iOS Settings if you previously declined).
